Welcome! We are so glad to have you here at our website. If you haven't met us already, we are WVFS Tallahassee 89.7FM-our friends just call us V89. We are Florida State University's nationally recognized, student run, college radio station.

We operate by a simple mandate here at V89: To play music of quality that you're not likely to hear anywhere else. Does that include post-punk dance music? Yes it does! How about Norwegian death metal, you might ask? Well, of course, silly! Romantic indie pop, underground hip hop, experimental breakcore? Yes, yes, and yes, dear listener. Jason Mraz? Certainly not.
