In-Studio: Hundred Waters

On June 9th, 2012, WVFS hosted then-Gainesville based group Hundred Waters for an in-studio performance. The band appeared in anticipation of their set headlining V89’s summer throwdown at Rehab, which also featured performances from Hold That Hand and Pat Puckett.

Now on OWSLA Records and based in Los Angeles, Hundred Waters have recently become known (and widely acclaimed) for their unique mix of electronic and acoustic instrumentation, as featured on their records, Hundred Waters and The Moon Rang Like A Bell. Here, we have a recording of the band performing their song “Sonnet” acoustically, as well as being interviewed. Derek Jones handled mixing.
