2015In-Studio: The Spirit Of The Beehive
On August 17th, 2015, WVFS Tallahassee was excited to host an in-studio performance from Philadelphia shoegaze band The Spirit Of The Beehive. Named after a Spanish film from the 1970’s, the band was in town for a show with fellow Philly band Amanda X, as well as Tallahassee locals Ex-Breathers and Buffalo Buffalo. The day after the show, both Amanda X and The Spirit Of The Beehive were gracious enough to come in and play a few songs for us on-air, before heading to Gainesville for their next show.
The Spirit Of The Beehive played songs from their self-titled album as well as their new EP, You Are Arrived (But You’ve Been Cheated).
