Interview: Doug Martsch

Last Friday, WVFS was honored to host an interview with Doug Martsch, the longtime leader of Boise, Idaho indie rock band Built To Spill. A highly consistent and influential group, noted for Martsch’s distinctive voice and virtuosic guitar playing, they are now touring in support of their eighth album Untethered Moon. In anticipation of a show at The Side Bar on Saturday night, our very own David Wolfson spoke with Martsch on the new record, his past with radio, the history of Built To Spill, and more. To listen to the interview, click play above, and for more interviews, in-studio performance recordings, and more, see the Station Chatter section of our website.

Untethered Moon is out now on Warner Bros.
