Listen to WVFS Interview Until The Ribbon Breaks on Thursday, February 5th at 3PM

Tune in to V89 at 3:00 on Thursday, February 5th to hear us interview Until The Ribbon Breaks. Based in Cardiff, Until The Ribbon Breaks is a trio consisting of Peter Lawrie Winfield, Elliot Wall and James Gordon. They first gained widespread attention for their appearance on the first Run The Jewels album, on the song “Job Well Done.” More recently, they released their debut album, A Lesson Unlearnt, on Kobalt Records. The album features guest appearances from Homeboy Sandman as well as Run The Jewels, and has received widespread praise for its combination of hip hop, R&B and forward-thinking electronic music. It’s currently in heavy rotation at WVFS and doing very well on our CMJ charts.

The group will be talking to us from the west coast, where they are currently on tour as an opener for London Grammar. Tune in at 3PM to hear our interview, and then later that day, tune in again for an in-studio with Wet Nurse prior to their appearance at TV Land. That will be at 5:00. What a day! Below, check out Until The Ribbon Breaks’ video for “Revolution Indifference,” and stay tuned for more great things on The Voice.
